Mechanism of Action
Mechanism of Action
Clarithromycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. Rifampin inhibits bacterial RNA synthesis by binding to RNA polymerase, enhancing antimicrobial efficacy when combined.
